Carol studied Fine Art at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, gaining a B.A. (Hons) degree. On graduating Carol specialised in animal portraiture, before moving on to paintings of large flowers, being absorbed in the bright colours and freedom that silk paints allow. Carol then decided to follow her desire to be more expressive, and moved on to experimenting with more abstract pieces using acrylics and texture on canvas. Carol is always on the lookout for colour, whether that is in the sky, wildflower meadows or nature, she is always mentally recording and visualising for inspiration.
Carol is very fortunate to have a large studio at her home, near Nantwich, where she can lose herself in creating new artwork.
